Programs and Services

Koinonia is devoted to serving children and adults with mild to profound intellectual and developmental disabilities. Many of these exceptional individuals also have other special needs and challenges, including physical and learning disabilities, medical issues, and dual diagnosis. Services are provided through the following Medicaid waiver programs:

• Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded (ICF/MR)
• Individual Options (IO) 
• Level I Waivers
• Day Array (Day Habilitation and Vocational Services)
• Non-medical Transportation
• Supported Employment 

Koinonia offers a variety of service options to individuals with IDD:

The stars represent communities where the organization’s residential facilities are located.  Koinonia is able to provide services to individuals in any community throughout Cuyahoga County.
